Project vmount going well
Some good progress today.
Battery wired up and working. Stock live terminal removed from the fusebox and cable attached. I ran the cable through the firewall where the AC lines ran.

Using a VIBE 140amp breaker. Will mount this in the centre console. Its cool because it doubles as a cut off switch.

Earth is bolted to where the clips for the rear seats used to be.


Rad and IC in position. I managed to lower the stock powersteering cooler so it fits with the rad
Saved loads of time. Also I have enough room to retain the stock undertray which is cool.
Here is the view from the bumper mouth. The Radtec IC has ducted welded to each side so it seals against the rad. The whole thing is sealed so the air going into the front mouth HAS to go through the IC or rad.



No gap between the rad and IC.

Now time to pipe everything up and mock up a mount for the AST!

Here she stands at the end of today. Only got about 3hrs to work on her but Rad is now fitted and hoses connected, fans wired up and IC in place and bolted down.
AST is just sat there at the moment but is hosed up.
Now just waiting on the Greddy Elbow and to wedge the filters in somewhere.

Stock sequential dump valves - will get some little filters for them. Not much room for the twin Apexis!

With regards to the switch acting like a cut off is that for security or safety? If for safety has it been configured to prevent damage to the alternator from spiking if you switch it off whilst the engines running?

Looking great chris, can't get much shorter an IC pipe route 
For safety reasons your fuse should be as close to the battery as possible. This fuse is only protecting the wiring after it - so you currently have a lot of unprotected wire with the potential of shorting against earth? I would go for a terminal mounted fuse and a dash switch.

Couple of little things to finish off like adding mini filters to the dump valve and charge relief valve (christ these are loud unfiltered!
). Also the AST is just held in place by a cable tie at the moment, whoops! 
Took the car out and I was getting 19c air temp on a cruise and about 23c on boost, water never went over 81c. I was worried that it would be a bit laggier due to the huge core, but if anything it is less laggier! The response blows my mind and im only running 0.7bar at the moment. Pulls like a train.
Next stage - spare turbo pack and manifold going to Jaydee for porting and then a new map before Snetterton in Feb!
