Sparco nomex

Post by jap.slapper »

I came across this on tinterwebz', sorry my Italian/Spanish/Durka Durka???? is not up to much but I presume it's a demonstration by Sparco of one of their products

I've got an OMP 3 layer nomex suit, Sparco nomex gloves, Sparco nomex boots, Sparco nomex lined helmet and Sparco nomex balaclava

I was umming and arring with regards to buying a nomex top and bottoms to go underneath but now pretty sure it's worth the discomfort

It is scarey how quickly it can all go wrong. Anytime we take someone out on track i always insist on them going through getting out the harnesses and the car in a set time.
This sort of thing even goes for me. I had an electrical fire on the road in our old car and i struggled to get the extinguisher out it's bracket.

Mr Abbott's crash was a bit interesting!

If you're going to drive really hard you should buy the most comprehensive range of safety products you can, it's simple really. Nomex panties etc will at least give you the peace of mind of knowing that (as long as you've done everything else) you are as safe as possible in the event of a fire/crash/whoopsie.
