I don't know if iam right but watch cars like this that are imported and registered after 2005 and 2006 onwards because you'll get hit with the highest car tax rate.

really, i didnt know that, always look at the price on the tax disc when going to look at one then eh :)

Its only higher tax band if its less than 10 years old when imported and has to go through ESVA as far as I know.

Bit of a mishmash that one. 2.1 engine built by Tim Farmer is good, but still has the rubbish original top-mount with a load of bent fins. Charge temps would be barely under control at 300bhp never mind the claimed 325. Previous owner probably ran out of money after having to fork out 4k for the rebuild. It's about 2.5k overpriced. Would likely be a good car with a bit of finishing though.
