Sweet! Shiny Toys.

Is that a Drenth gearbox case too? If so, much reinforcement over the standard one?

I remember you saying the case was a weakpoint.

Yep awesome mate, this car just gets better and better. But what about a diffuser on the back, it still looks odd :)

Yep, unique-to-Drenth main casing due to the proper sequential barrel inside (pics when we next pull it apart), plus greater strength. New bell-housing casing too to ensure a tight fit for the layshaft bearing race.

Also came spec'd with the direct-acting rod linkage which passed through the original gearcable hole, plus new sequential lever with reduced throw over the Ikeya shift. All of which is now surplus to requirements with the new Geartronics paddles taking their place. :D
Finishing off the Ford ;)

As per the rear of the car, there are a couple of observations that I would make

1) It's the same 'style' as the HKS Evo that the manufacturer uses in the Super Lap battle (Time Attack @ Tsukuba) so it can't be that bad an idea
Image

2) The amount of attention it attracts is massive so it's win win really
