Just been speaking to Alan at these dates and to say we are a little miffed...well.

Having only the club pro and pro classes at Silverstone is a massive kick in the bollocks to all the guys in club. Siverstone is Trax, one of the biggest modified car shows in europe.

The club guys are the ones who struggle to secure sponsorship and being able to tell new sponsors that we would be at Trax is a deal clincher. It's almost as if they want our money but we're not really important in the big picture. The whole modified live crowd will be at Trax so who's going to be at Rockingham.......

Alan came out with an excellant idea.

We understand that they cannot get enough track time at Trax, but, if they made 2 compromises it would be better.

1. Do parade laps for all the club class cars.
2. Have a Time Attack stand in the paddock for all the club class cars.

This way your sponsors would still be able to get their names in front of the public.....

Is it only the 1b tyre manufacturer that has to remain the same throughout?

There is no restriction on 1B tyres for 2013.

Really....that's great news mate, so does that mean drivers can mix and match throughout the season?

Yes. I think this change was made due to a few issues they had this season. Either way it's a good change.

Round 5 club class has been changed.

Rnd 1. Cadwell Park – Monday 1st April
Rnd 2. Croft Circuit – Saturday 11th May
Rnd 3. Snetterton Circuit – Sunday 9th June
Rnd 4. Oulton Park – Saturday 3rd August
Rnd 5. Donnington Circuit – Saturday 7th September (Club Classes Only)

Rnd 5. Silverstone Circuit – Sunday 8th September (Pro/Club Pro Classes Only)
Rnd 6. Brands Hatch Circuit – Sunday 29th September
