When me and Alan bought Herbie it was from a friend in another car club, Pete. A really nice bloke with 2 nice lads. Over the years we got to see his boys grow up and the choices they made in life.
Stephen, the eldest followed his dads footsteps and became a HGV driver at the young age of 21. He was such a genuinely nice and polite young man, who always had a big smile on his face.
Whilst at the nec last week I bumped into Stephen and his girlfriend and we spent a bit of time catching up. As usual he had that big grin on his face that always made you feel special.
On Saturday we found out that Stephen had been in a serious car crash whilst on his way to work in the week and that it was serious.
He passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning at the age of 23. So young and with so much ahead of him a truely nice young man.
A life lost.
A touching tale Pablo. At least you have your memories mate, it doesn't make up for the loss I know, but you will always think fondly of him.

Sorry to hear of your tale Pablo, as Stu says you should remember him fondly and makes you treasure life more when something like this happens.
