My New Toy

Bought a fully race and road legal Tiger at the weekend. Plenty of scope for improvement and a good solid basis for lots of fun. A good factory too.

I have to say Matt, that looks the bollocks
What kind of spec is it? I love the hardcore Tiger's like this and at least with a proper cage, you can use it in anger.

Love it.

Cool ! I just popped in there one day last year to have a look at their stuff and ended up staying there for a couple of hours getting a full run down of what they do how they do it etc......really friendly !

Its got a new 2.0l Zetec Black Top crate engine in it, running twin carbs and Webcon. Its got a Tran-X race gearbox in it with a very long first. Engine just dynoed at 170bhp.

Tiger can get it to an easy 190bhp by adding cams and rejetting the carbs. Or, if I win the lottery I can spend a small fortune at Dunnells and get well over 300bhp by going onto throttle bodies etc.

It could benefit from a Quaife ATB too.

It can also go on a serious diet as it is quite heavy for a car of this type. Its 688kgs.

Looks tidy mate, though it does seem quite a bit bigger than I would have expected though...
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?

A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

They are bigger than a caterham, but its marginal. The cage makes it look bigger.
