2013 msa sprinting
who's in ?
im on the look out for another jap 4wd to compete with as i need that buzz in my life again

anyone interested in a few rounds for banzai runs/banter ?

Unless my priorities change and I jump on the wage train again, I won't be joining you mate. The extra expense of competing in MSA stuff kills it stone dead for me.

I did hear a whisper that there may be more local (Eastern and Southern) rounds in the MLR series. If that is the case then it would be a more likely platform for me, but we'll see. I will need to have a few more quid behind me than I do at the moment but there is a lot of time to go yet.

I don't imagine for one minute that you'll be joined by a few high speed pilots from this club mate........like the good old days maybe?

Keep us posted on your decisions.

Well, if the MLR sort more local events, I really would consider it again. I miss the fun and banter.

Iam up for this car is almost sorted now , carn't believe iam going to get another impreza lucky for me the car has got nearly all my old parts on it from my previous impreza.

Have had many ideas on different cars to use but they just won't have the buzz off the line as a grippy four wheel drive turbo

Yes it's mike sheerings type r sti which has my old suspension roll bars rose joints and roll centre kit it also has a few nicer bits than mine spec is

2.2 with ported polished heads high lift cams 2.5 crank with end thrust bearing conversion lightened flywheel new td05 turbo just remapped Friday by Duncan graham HKS front mount HKS equal length exhaust manifold and up pipe. Haywood and Scott exhaust. power is limited to about 340 bhp due to injectors at this horse power the gearbox will be safe and hopefully reliable.

The gearbox is close ratio with dcd

Suspension is Leda with wrc Tarmac spring rates whiteline anti roll bars with rose jointed links whiteline roll centre kit
so thats a rough spec good starting platform but must not try to chase more hp that's where the trouble starts.
