Nice work Chris !! Really like what you have done. Any pics of the battery install in the boot ? Or are you waiting till finished ?

Thanks mate! Ill wait till ive done it but basically its a carbon look box with a lid and ive bolted it down to the far left of the boot. I looked at moving it to the rear seat well but I couldn't see how I would fix it down.

Oh by the way there is another FD localish in Thetford. He came round today to buy my old filters. Lovely bone stock 98 spec in white.

How are you getting on with yours mate?

No I wanted to have bins and put it in there but then you are stuck with one of the small gel batteries that doesnt really hold a lot of charge :(

Si on fduk rates the westco mx5 batteries. Apparently they hold a decent charge and will fit in the bins

Has to be a sealed battery with at least 500 cranking power. Any good?

Nope, it's no good. The Mx5 one is 'only' a 380 although I do have a few 650's and bigger, but they are all in use on other things :)
