Dealer Day 18th October Thursday Snetterton
Great day today, good to see you all and massive thanks to Eddy for hosting the event. Having the Archie Scott Brown centre was very civilised, with drinks and nibbles in the warmth right next to the garage!
As said earlier the morning was very interrupted but being let out first, at the head of the pitlane, meant that Mike/Graeme in the Cayman and I in the scoob had some lovely clear laps whilst it was still wet. The RA Impreza is in its element in those conditions, with a bit of lock on the centre diff to calm the oversteer. The Cayman was less happy, kicking its rear wheels out and looking a bit of a handfull. After lunch I had some pax laps in the Cayman and it was brilliant once the conditions had improved.
A highlight of the afternoon for me was a session in Eddy's mighty Metro. That thing is so much fun and properly capable through the corners. Thanks very much Eddy.
Was good to see Stuart around lunchtime. As he pointed out it might have been tempting fate to do the trackday having put the scoob on the market, but I'm happy to report that it came through with flying colours. It handled all the conditions well with tweakable 4wd and RS-R tyres. It's better in the wet than the dry in fact, with the fast-road biased setup suiting a wet track really well.
See you next time!
cheers
Andy

Well, John and Andy have more or less covered the day by way of a rightup. Thanks guys.
We had a great day. The rest of you missed out big time! Organisation by MSV was really good. I have found out since that this was their first 'proper' event of this type. They offered to do a feature on their website due to this and here it is using some of my words and pics.

The new look website is up, but the webshop is still filling up with products. I am working on this at the moment.
I shall be doing another event similar to this in the spring, so hope more of you can make it next time.
Cheers
