Hi, as some of you know, the new girlfriend has an MX5 and she is well into the 'scene' so i thought i had better get one lol.

96K 1.8 UK car so no aircon or power steering

And then after just over a week

Well it is done for now.

Exhaust, Bilsteins and lowering springs

Decat (made by me)

New discs and pads on rear. Federal track tyres

New yellowstuff pads on front (discs were ok)

Relocated AFM, induction kit and strut brace. Headlights and motors removed.

Made harness bar and roll bar (CDS tube), harnesses and stripped out

Battery centralised and lowered

On the tralier ready for testing

It is with an MX5 :)

I'm a bit surprised you're using those seats with harnesses but I'm sure you won't be pressing that hard. I would strongly suggest replacing the steel panel that covers the overflow and fuel intake pipe in the boot. The slightest spark from that battery or anything else could be absolutely disastrous. I probably have one spare if you need it.

Good luck with your christening later. Should be fun (read wet :) )
