Kinda cool but sad to lose the rotary engine, a bit of the character has gone.
I first of all read the thread as a 20b RX8 and thought....cool. But sadly not :(

They are right though, cheap as chips plus (and I'm not sure if they are still doing it) but you could buy brand new engines from Mazda for

Nice project thread and a cool idea! It would have been nice to have read through all that and seen a running motor at the end though.:frown: I hope he gets it finnished soon.

60,000 mate, give it some credit :)

But yeah its like taking a 70s muscle car and putting a Honda Vtec engine in it or taking a Mustang and putting an RB26 in it......eh hold on didnt someone do that.

Martin is a mad brummy he will build almost anythink for a larf
his RS500 has a stroker kit in it and makes 550bhp on low boost.
his company reyland was only round the corner from my old flat.
