I think the tricky thing with TA is, if they constrain the rules too much then it'll loose its appeal to the punters. But it does seem to need a few tweaks!

I do like the idea of it, but it just seems a bit messy at the minute. And like "proper" Sprinting its not the most exciting thing to watch as a spectator, but I think most of us here are discussing this from a driver/entrant point of view so that doesn't matter as such.

Also, on the otherhand I find the classes kinda confusing anyway and even with the live timing had no idea who was doing well or not as there are multiple classes out at any one time.

I like Gary, was interesting in maybe having a go at Snetterton as OHW but as documented above, the costs are pretty steep! So as Duncan Ballantyne said.....I'm out!

I still think that TA gets a good crowd because its combined with the 'Modified Live' style events, if it was put on a date on its own I dont think you'd have half the people. Not convinced its the TA that pulls in the people, more the modified live element.

Yes Russ but I was trying to make the point again as there seemed to be a lot of threads about how popular TA is when it isn't :)

No, dont get me wrong I think if you are competing then TA is superb as you can get out there and mix it up with the best cars in the UK but I think to get the best out of it with regards to being competitve you need to have deep pockets in terms of mods and driving tuition which a number of us have said.

The schedule certainly provides the best circuits the UK has to offer though and can understand the buzz in being involved in such a big Motorsport series.
