I still can't understand why if you're novice, or have a road car, you get your track day from MSV cheaper than if you're neither?

What defines a road car - is it anything road registered with an MOT and Tax?

Similarly, whats a novice? and how do you police it?

I'm keen to know as a snett 300 OPL day for

One to add the forum Mod!!

But taking it one stage further, in my business, If we offer the same product to a different market at a different price then it is deemed illegal. Not that I'm saying this is of course but I'm really keen to understand the reason/.justification behind it and what the rules are that apply.

Is it not like the new customer thing, where BT for arguments sake, offers inducements to new punters that existing customers don't get?

Not really. if I have whatever is deemed a road car then I can get the "introductory" or "new customer" price every time I want to do a track day

Interesting. But it doesn't answer the 3 questions:

What is a road car - a TA Pro car could be road legal
What is a novice (and importantly how is that policed)

But most importantly WHY do these people pay
