Why when you have people like the astra vxr who have spent cica 60-60k over the years would i enter and think i had half a chance in CLUB fwd !!!
CLUB class needs a review to allow people to enter who have track cars and want some fun .

I have already said that the classes need looking at.

Cantello won club class RWD against the odds, because he stepped up to the challenge.
Marshall bought the title club class 4WD. (R35) The need to win above the desire to compete. He played the rules and won.

Civic Cup for me anyday. Time Attack is dull and boring to watch as a spectator and too biased eg professional drivers, crazy amounts of money spent in the 'base' classes to stay competitive, an odd ruling of classes etc etc etc.
Civic Cup everyone is on a level playing field and its a genuine challenge and watching the racing is pretty good. I bet Stu can't forget the Mazda MX5 championships of a few years ago, was like wacky races but much more competitive. Having a base car and level playing field and to quote Bart 'sorts the men from the boys'

There are NO, professional drivers in club class.
The class structure is simple once explained.

In order for someone to be classed as a professional driver they need to be or have been paid to drive someone elses car. A hobby racer could do 100 races a year, that does not, nor will not make them a pro driver.
Personal opinion is irrelevant as to what constitutes a pro driver.
In answer to your question No, i haven't lost the plot.
Gents, I could be wrong, but a sense a little niggle here.
Are any of the Club boys professional from the point of view that they get paid to drive cars round circuits? I'd hate to see two sets of people who actually get on a circuit fall out over mixed signals...
Genuine question which help prevent confusion etc.
