The Exedy twin plate that was put in the Evo by APT made a funny noise when you let the clutch pedal out on all gear changes. At first I thought there was something wrong with it but there wasn't and I just got used to the noise after a while.

Done the rubber boots on the gearstick and its loads better noise wise, although still noisy but easier to ignore now

Driven 300-400 miles in it now with no problems, very happy

Still waiting on the rota grids in matt bronze (18x10 et15) to turn up - hopefully for this weekend if i'm lucky... Some pics from the weekend on stock wheels though

Excuse the fact the side spats are off currently - wanted to refit them as they were coming away from the body a little - not got them refitted yet

To be fair though the cars now not far off being ready to use... just intime for the end of the usable season

Will take it to Shakey RWYB next month probably and if I can get the brakes sorted and a silenced decat then maybe try and squeeze a bedford trackday in somewhere before the end of the year too

So new wheels are here but no wheel nuts with them so cant fit them until wednesday at the earliest (when I can get hold of some slim steel wheelnuts, either titanium style or anodised blue) but for now a couple of teaser pics;

oowww, yes they will look very nice - think blue nuts would be the boss too

...

Also, I'd not put the centre caps on and rock the capless look

- I painted the disk centres with black hammerite aswell as the centre nuts.

Went for the Neo chrome nuts in the end (not sure if I regret it or not yet... kinda think I should've got the blue heh...)

But still... these were quicker than any blues I could get and means I've now got the wheels fitted (although need to do a bit of trimming of plastic front arch liner and maybe a tiny roll on the rear arches too)

Not got the side spats refitted again just yet though which is a shame...
