Looking for a bodyshop and undersealer recommendation

Post by dom187 »

As per the title really, I need the car re-undersealing and some rust bubbles sorted, I would like proper paint to be used not this water based stuff as well!

I want a good job done and I dont mind paying for a good job if you see what I mean. Also because the car is an RX7 I need the bodyshop to be quite strict in how they shut the car down and generally not to mess about with the car etc.

Can anyone recommend me anyone?

H-Tech styling on Vulcan industrial estate - Auster close.

01603 485757 - say Ben Connor sent you :).

H-Tech is run by a very good mate of mine called Chris Howlet, he's done loads of our cars including the APT Evo, Ross's Evo, my GTR, my Golf, Gareth's polo, Gareths RX7

Very good value and great service.

- it is ALL water based now chap - solvent based paint has been banned for ages!.

Thanks for this.

Ahh ok, Do you know if the water based paints play nice with the existing solvent based paints?

Personally never had a problem - that's a chat best placed for Chris to answer.

Also for piece of mind, he knows all about the RX7 and RX8 startup and shutdown :) - he's done a few RX8's for people at work also.
