Cadence braking will help and it probably went some way towards avoiding the hut. Do you think it was cold tyres, lift off oversteer or just weight transfer that caught you out?

to be honest i think it was a combination of cold tires and lift of oversteer
there was also i little bump in the road as well that caught me out so
remembered that spot for the rest of the weekend.
i braked just before the corner turned in then back on the brakes in a straight line.
looking forward to snetterton later on as it will be the only track on the
calander that i will actually know:smilielol5:

Thats a really earlie turn in for that corner which then leaves you wrestling to get the car back to where it needs to be for the braking before the crest then the next 2nd gear left ( assuming thats a 2nd gear in your car )
is that your usual line ?
Guess it depends on what car your in ?

From what I know of Alans driving he will try several different lines on certain corners. Whats best for a front wheel drive is not always the same as a 4wd. Our car is normally very stable under braking and very compliant when the back end steps out. From what i can tell the spin was caused by the simple fact that when the back end stepped out and Alan corrected it due to his position on the track. Near the grass. The rear wheels got onto the grass and at that speed game over.
I'm a bit surprised by the amount of roll on that last photo Pablo; what spring rates or tyres were you using on the car? Do you have a different ARB?
