Jesus, that last one is epic! A total of dead on 3 miles around the perimeter and the runway is 1.13 miles long! :D :D :D

My only word of caution is farmers are a suspicious breed in my experience, and if they fear a bunch of loons setting fire to their corn fields by rolling their flaming cars into them, we won't get a look in.
The benefit of the Autotest style event is it's low speed and therefore, to the uninformed, low risk. I totally agree a three mile loop with a 1.3 mile straight would be epic, i'd want marshalls, first aiders, and assistance from grown ups for when it goes wrong.
Farms/airfields are private places, getting us round dangerous driving legislation (9 times out of 10) industrial estates and similar won't. If anyone knows a similar venue closer to the shires, fill your boots. I'll add comments from the owner to this if I get to speak to them tomorrow.

Wormingford would be awesome, that's very local to me and reasonably close to my lock up

Concrete + get together looks great to me. There looks to be some rough bits but we can work around that! Count me in.

HAHA !!

You can forget Wormingford airfield for a start !!

That will never happen in a millenium of sundays, Ive lived there my whole life, know the owners, the parish council and the fact that even the gliding club has extremely limited use, so a bunch of half arses hooning around in cars wont even get past the front gate, trust me !!

If you really wanna traipse all the way to the suffolk/essex border then I could see if Tony can do something at his airfield which is in no worse a state that anything else you have posted, but thats gotten distinctly harder in recent years, he hardly bothers testing his own cars on it any more.

As for the club numbers dwindling then personally I had health and other issues, but for me the core of the club was always the meets at Snett so if that could be rekindled then perhaps it might garner more traffic online.

oh and lol at Bens burgundy shitter !! GTR's are always better the longer the time gets from when you last owned one. I miss mine terribly but would be slitting my wrists if I still owned it, but at least it wasnt a dull muddy colour !! pmsl
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!
