I also found that the nismo slave cylinder is a handy little addition - it makes the clutch much better to use once you're on a twin. I went through a few clutches till I found one I liked, lunched an Os Giken, lunched an Exedy, finally ended up with the nismo super copper mix twin .. that was lurvelllyyyy.

18s will be a fair bit of cash though.

Good to see you miss the Rex, something about them eh even though mine currently is in bits I can't help but smile everytime I go to the garage ;)
R32 is a superb car though and deffo my alternative choice (or a
Midnight purple R33) !!

Rex's are awesome end of :D Miss the gear change Beeeeeeeeeeep from it too heh - The communities are great too, FDUK is probably the one forum i'm most loyal to these days despite not having my FD anymore heh
Ben wrote:I'm a wheel snob when it comes to R32's - only TE37's :) - I sold my R32 to a chap in france who immediately binned the 17inch gunmetal TE37's for a nice 18inch set of TE37's .. Wish I'd bought them in 18inch the first time round.

Gareth, my old R32 ate your girly RX7 for breakfast :) (I can hear you thinking but you had 100BHP more) lol.

Unfortunately budget wont allow for TE37's especially in decent width/offset/size (even if budget allowed for it I couldnt justify wheels that were like 1/3 the value of the car) narrowly missed out on some decent size/offset Rota Grids the other day so the wait for something tasty continues :)

Also just clicked but remember you selling your car - was a little way out of my budget as I was looking at the time but it looked stunning, such a shame I couldnt have stretched the budget at the time :)

I read the nismo slave cylinder didnt have enough travel in it for some of the twin plate clutches? Presumably yours was ok because of the nismo clutch mind...

I've found them horrible so far but have reset all the spring platforms etc on the rear when I had the rear hubs off for the hicas delete so hoping with a reduction of preload should be little nicer on the road at least :)

Only when you had new turbos on and yep over 100bhp more than mine ;)
Would have loved to see a 400bhp Rex against the Skyline !!

Dont think i've ever seen a set that cheap to be fair (not in decent offset/width anyway)- been keeping an eye out for quite a while (and still am). Not too desperate as got the stock 16's to keep it mobile for now (if it actually worked anyway) so we shall see what comes up :D
