I don't think that there is a single reason Garry, certainly most things have a life cycle so some people will have moved on to other things but cost and changed circumstances will have had an adverse effect on BP activities with people being more selective about TDs Builds or modifying.
Good to see that Mike B, TK, Pablo & Bart and you and Blackie keep the flag flying in competitive motor sport and project builds
There is an opportunity to meet up on the 26th At Snetterton for an evening even if it is only to watch and chat so hope to see a few BP members there

Any thoughts from the users of the forum about what would stimulate you to use this place more?
Events are one thing, and I appreciate that we only used to exist to celebrate doing rather than talking but times have changed for many. I'd be interested to evaluate what would generate more traffic to the site, and what would enhance peoples experience of the club.......

Thoughts?

all being well we should be at snetterton 22nd/23rd september for time attack.
its just an idea but how about if the club had a stand at the show to promote the club, or have joint stand APT & BP, just an idea.
i dont know what the cost would be for a stand.

I come on here every now and then to have a look around to see if any good events are coming up. But I work shifts and 9x out of 10 im working for most of them :(
It would be good to get this club out there a bit more as there is really nowhere for the petrolheads of east anglia to come and chat online.

I've just picked up a new toy (Don't ask about the Celica) so that I can get involved again - More info on my 2005 WRX to follow :D

I am surprised about the lack of meets/events, these were the heartbeat of the club core as I recall. Have times moved on so far?

As said above there are many reasons, I'd like to blame the economy, the price of fuel, but as they saying goes it does take two to tango, I do think we need to get together like we used to do - but we will need a new venue for our evening meets. We've got the meet up on the 1st of Sept, let's start there and build :).

I lost alot of love in my car due to lack of time, money etc. & new projects at work, which in turn made me also not come on either the sxoc or here.
My 200 has been of the road for 6 months & I drove it for the 1st time last week and I'm back in love :D hence why I'm back on here!

I think just getting the club name & information about it out there will help, social media is currently the best way to get coverage.
