Well today was a good day on the car the finishing line is in sight the plan was to start at the front run a spanner on every nut and bolt to check i hadn't missed any.

while doing this i filled the brake reservoir with fluid so it could slowly fill up all the new lines and calipers and found i hadn't tightened one union inside which hadn't done any damage to the floor paint and one on the rear beam a quick tighten and no more leaks.

Fitted the facett fuel pump and filter king ready to supply the 45's with life.

sorted out the new top mounts to set the carster and camber.

Then gave the golf its first clean since its return.

Here's afew picks from the day ( sorry phone camera again )

Last bits to do

fuel lines
fuel tank
fit the seat and harnesses
and then ready for test drive and a trackday
