I think that I'll bolt it in in the regular Blackmore spec way, it's secure, low and cheap

If you can PM me a list of interesting bits and/or prices that would be great. I am after a dash, black door cards (if 5 door) a louder, free flowing exhaust, maybe better brakes, we may be able to do a deal on that manual gearbox too..............

Interesting choice stu but one hell of a bargain. I had a manual vr6 a few years back and loved it! I put a greens cone filter on it and it made one hell of a noise
Only sold it because of head gasket issues

Found this little Swedish built car as a source of inspiration........it may just have saved the Mk3 from a quick sale.

As my previous post stated, my Golf has sat in a shed for what must be two months, untouched and unloved. It was never bought as a quick turnaround project but it came within moments of a deal being done. With serious quantities of time off coming up (potentially) now is the moment to either keep it and get started or sack it off and put the cash towards unemployment

Ok, I'll admit that the one pictured above is a rear wheel drive five cylinder big turbo monster, and I won't/can't do something similar but at least it has enlivened my interest in the

So with that in mind, sack this thing off. Get it roadworthy and sold! Then put the funds into a proper car that can be used on track and is suitable. There are so many decent cars out there to choose from that will instantly be better than a knackered auto golf.
