Only Just seen this thread

Fucking love these rex's, soooooooooo good looking, and small! Looks awesome bud, and I'm with you on the bronze rimmage, def keep 'em that colour.

BTW, jaydee is a good pal of mine so if you don't know him already he's an endless source of rex info/stuff,

Did you manage to get the leads to reach in the end mate? I couldn't get any good shots of mine in the garage. Too dark.

Chris, yep I did by swapping them round on the board. Would have been easier for DM Motorsports to mark on there where they go but all sorted now. The Magnicore leads are difficult to push on though. Hopefully they are on ok but will check in the morning.

Monster, yeah Jaydee is a legend within the rotary community and what he and Kerim don't know about Rexs isn't worth knowing !! Only met him once when he was really kind to take me out in his white T78 Rex round Snetterton. Thoroughly nice bloke. Will be speaking to him when I put this back together about doing some mapping but won't be for a while. Deffo agree about bronze against the black :)

I have serious car envy over this Rex. I would love an FD3s at some stage.

To be honest the thing is a total rip off. Could have at least come with instructions! Well glad you sorted it!

By the way are you planning on making it to any track events this year?

Just for you Chris, I put my fingers deep in the box of leftover screws bolts etc and found 3 screws that suited putting the blanking plate on....

Agree though if DM had even scribed on where the coilpacks went it would be much better :(

Not sure on track events, I will most probably pop up to the July one but unlikely I will be in the Rex.

What about you mate ?

Yeah I will be at the July Mazda on track event and I have singed up to do the Charity event as well but not heard anything back yet. Not sure if an RX7 comes under the "supercar" category. With 350bhp and 1200kg it certainly should do!

Right, little update......more proper JDM bits that I got ages and ages ago for a bargain price (all secondhand).

First up is the Re-amemiya reinforcement bar, look at the new above and standard below.

As you can see the standard rollbar mounts are in fact sht and common bits that eventually bend and snap in a worst case. The reinforcement bar is over
