Hey Trev

No winning this time, was 6th Overall, 4th Evo. 1.4 seconds behind the Scooby that won.

Blyton is mega quick so the boys wioth 700bhp+ were gonna be hard to beat. Slight issue with trying to dial suspension in with slicks, so hopefully with a few minor tweaks we shall be back in the running at the next one.

A frustrating day in someways as I like winning!! But in hindsight it was very positive, first time at the event, (others were testing Friday there!!) so to be not far off its all bad. Just not great for points seeing as I've missed 2 events so far.

Doing Snett in 2 weeks if your about?

Interesting. Is there a general rule of adjustment that needs to be made to suspension to make it work, if moving from a tyre like a 888?

I'm at rockingham on friday and will be (weather permitting) running slicks for the first time on the gtr. Was going to run same settings but v useful to know if generally you should go harder/softer on anything as a start point.

When i put them on the zed I didn't touch the suspension. But then I didn't wath my guages either and the oil surge they caused soon made that go pop :smilielol5:

Hi mate

I don't think there is a general rule, as every track, car and tyre is different. But usually the stickier the tyre the stiffer you want to go to work the tyre more rather than the suspension.

I'd suggest starting from your normal settings then making small adjustments as required to change the balance to suit. Or go to the extremes of hard and soft and work your way back to something your happier with.
