Of course sir - same as the Comps ET12 :D - hoping not to have to raise it too much for the slicks as they're a bit chunkier than 888s

So an update at last.

Very successful day at the garage today and felt like a kid at Christmas opening all my presents.

First up were these..

Image

rapidly followed by the first of the big boxes... I was bit apprehensive as you know but was well happy on opening the box

Image

Then I pulled out my new disc, which alhtough really hard to see in the pics are MUCH bigger than stock, but also almost twice the width which also made me happy

Image

Then it was off to get the slicks put on...

Image

Then back to garage to hang all the shiny new bits on the GTR

[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?

A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

The slicks weren't actually as chunky as I'd thought so left the front ride height alone. I've lifted the rear by 10mm as one side used to rub occasionally, and it also had a bit of a speedboat stance about it - see below as taken before I lifted it. Thought this a safer option than dropping the front. Just need to get the alignment done again

Cheers Pez - will mail you that stuff in a bit.

Other updates are that I fitted a Sparco intercom system to enable me to talk to people in the car - it's a bit noisy even without a lid. Mounted on the cage by the rear view mirror and run the leads round the cage under the padding so the jacks hang out by your ear and plug into your lid (which is now fitted with mic and 2 ear pieces. Seems a good bit of kit and ought to be as I ordered it in November and it turned up 3 weeks ago :cuss:

Car is also going for a re map. 2 Bar tuning (who basically designed and make the syvecs ECU) have a hardware upgrade now with 4d mapping (did i post this earlier?) so am having it mapped up from scratch, first in N/A mode, then with the boost. Ryan is confident that this will eradicate the part throttle richness the car still suffers from. TBH it's not really an issue anymore (unlike on the old Power FC) but as I'm a bit fussy i think it's worth it.

Plus of course 4d mapping sounds uber cool, whatever it means :smilielol5:

FMSW, that's a cool GTR, Stuart will be reminiscing when he see's this.
Loving the wheels and brakes, worth the aggravation I reckon.
