Does anyone else hate that fucking stupid 80s MTV style London olympic logo , what the smeg is London or olympic about it , would have been better to get an 8 year old to do it than pay a designer half a million quid for that . I remember thinking at the time when the budget cost of the olympics was anounced that it would be more like 10 billion because governments always underestimate the cost of projects , they even had to revise the figure because they forgot to add in the vat :willy_nilly:. Iam not against the olympics just i bit ambivalent really but to be nearly 5 times over budget and iam sure that figure will rise is crazy . What we dont want is for the games site to become a white elephant that costs another fortune to keep or is to expensive for the local people to use , as for the missiles that just doesnt bare thinking about .More importantly is the sun ever going to come out again because i need to get my car out of the garage . Whilst I understand the concerns with the above posts, the problem for me is the price of McVities Jaffa cakes! I mean, seriously how expensive are they going to get
It's getting bad when one can't afford to enjoy a chocolate & orange based biscuit whilst supping a cup of Twinings breakfast tea!!!
I'm considering writing to my local MP to see if the house of commons can shed any light on this outrageous over pricing of my favourite biccy :(
I swear the UK has gone to pot!

Seriously though i used to like Sainsburys eccles cakes , you know the ones they make fresh every day . Then they started to make them half the size and charged the same money for them ,i was gutted i mean thats just not on is it .I was going to make a placard and stand outside and protest but i thought better of it as i would only look a twat, so i refused to buy them and now get the egg custards instead .
