Grace 2- VR6 project
If you haven't sorted any sounds out yet mate try theloudest.com.Stuart wrote:The Golf was delivered this morning
Tan owns the Van so whatever gets fitted will be up to her. I do know that she wants me to mirror tint the rear window and fit some 'sounds'
I got some speakers for the Gtr from them and they are very good quality at a very reasonable price. They do all sorts of professional sound gear too

I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up

Thanks Nik
Not sure Mike; off to search the VR6 forums for answers
Dan, I was happy with the value and the noise it makes is pretty outrageous for a standard hatchback that is near on 20 years old!
I've agreed with the owner to collect those S3 wheels tomorrow night and I think suspension will be next on the list.

I am putting on weight but that is a bit harsh
Thank you for what I hope is a compliment but all I've done is bought a cheap car and gambled that it doesn't bite me on the arse (that hard) The real challenge lies ahead; to get it on the road and used HARD, on a sensible budget. Many of us are either dropping out of events or cutting back on car related fun. I'm hoping that if this project comes off (and it is a big 'if') I'm egotistically hoping that it gives other people the confidence of getting out there and giving cheap performance cars a go. And before anyone mentions it, I know full well the 'cheap' and 'performance' are all relative

The seats I have are base mounted Corbeau's. Can you rack your brain and suss out a way of fixing these into the VR6? The standard factory seats fit into the Mk3 the same way as the Mk2 if that helps.
Considering options for coilovers at the moment and trying to work out spring rates if they are non-damper adjustable or to spend a bit more and get some that are easy to meddle with like the old Gaz Gold's.
Thoughts?
