Well what a shocker! Stu has another toy! I presume the golf rocked up yesturday?
I like the van.;) Any plans to fit some chrome side bars, colour code the bumpers, tint the rear windows or some nice rims? I recon that would be a proper cool day van with all of the above.:)

Some good and interesting points

Why build a stripped out, low and impractical car for (largely) road use? Because they make me grin, I live in an area with some amazing B roads and I've tried the 7 series limo thing and I am bored shitless.

Aron......I had been hunting for something like a half decent E36 (again) but the timing wasn't right. As far as an E46 M3 goes, I'll explain why that won't work out in a minute*

The E39 M5 is a non-starter. I've just come out of a hideously expensive V8 and there was no chance on God's green Earth that I was going to walk into another one.

__________
*The clincher? Well, given this VR6 cost me

The Golf was delivered this morning

Tan owns the Van so whatever gets fitted will be up to her. I do know that she wants me to mirror tint the rear window and fit some 'sounds' :coolgleamA:

Wheels will be something that I'll leave to her until she can demonstrate that she doesn't knock all of the corners off of the van within the next month!

It was his one Ian but I have no doubt he'll buy another.

Been thinking back to the car you and Lloyd own; do you have any in car footage of that? The sound of it at Marham was so sweet :)

What did you do about suspension on that? Coilovers? ARBs? Top mounts?

Lloyd may have some in car footage, the car sits on coil overs. I couldn't tell you a brand as they were on it. Arbs front and back but really should have only done the rear as before the front was done I loved the under steer over steer battle but since the fronts been done its just an understeer battle. May be different with more weight. Think the vr6's last outing will be marham then i'd guess it'll go on ebay. Would see 140mph down the staight at marham and the extra grunt of the vr6 over the gti 16v at snet was massive.
