Been there a few years at least. Couldn't say how long though.

Struggling over the 2 days although if you ever speak to anyone at Pod about traction they say it is down to the individual to tune the car to the track conditions.
Traction wasn't as bad motor only although the 60 foot times dropped off to 1.4ish seconds with the gas we really struggled and could only manage a 9.8 and a 9.9 which is a good 4 tenths off the pace.
I know the Mustang runs a lot of power but it is probably easier to find the grip with the tyres that we run on the car than it would be for a street tyre. We softened the suspension on the launch and let 1/2lb of pressure out of the rears to 9lb to try and compensate but was never going to get a PB with the track as it was.
With 350 bhp of gas the best 60 foot we could manage was a 1.38 compared to a 1.30 on a good day
Having said that it was a great weekend with the racing being only a part of the reason for our weekends at the Pod, there was as always a lot of interest in the car and we got to see some guys that we hadn't seen for a while and met some great guys with a genuine interest in what we are doing with the car
The best time to run at the Pod is normally the weekend after a main event as the track is usually still in good condition or if finances allow a Webster test day as they fully prep the track and limit the cars to 15
The weekend was topped off with my run against Matt in his Escort and I cant wait for the rematch

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

That red Cossie Escort was awesome, but good to see the BP Ford boys giving it some stick.
Well done to TNT and Phil for flying the flag:)
