Looks great but paint the valances they are so high what will they hit? Had many done and never had a problem. Hope you're going coil-overs to get the height right. Great work!

Can't please everyone I guess, I think it's pretty cool mate.
Much as I'd love a big budget blaster like an Evo, I'd never run it due to the costs.
Maybe one day eh?...

It was cheap as chips Logan :) was going to sell it straight away and get an R32 but I'm going to hang onto it for abit now.

Ian, not going down the coilover route - will stick lowering springs on,I've got a full set of new suspension ready to go on, I need to keep it saleable to the 'normal' purchaser.

Never seen nut caps before like those i rather like how they tidy up the bolts.

Lee, think most VW alloys have them - normally they are plain, however found these logo'd one on Egay.

Ian, I forgot to say with regards painting valances, Emily managed to leave the last valance (on the Tdi 4 door) somewhere in a carpark after mashing it into a kerb ! .. it was

Thats a bit more like it :D they make a lovely noise, and very comforatable, just not mega fast and rubbish on fuel.
