ARP head nut & stud kits

Post by pablo »

Has anybody used arp cylinder head nut and bolt kits on their track/sprint cars.
Cossies have a steel block and an alloy head which expand at different rates which why they tend to use stretch bolts. Some people do use the ARP stud kits with no problems.
Looking for info from people who have done it and are unbiased.

Went from arp short studs to long studs. Long studs are a must for big power cosworths, only 6 are needed unless silly power is the goal. I was told the short studs were a waste of money.
