[quote="russ979"]Yes mate les is still available for doing valeting.
The leads were
VW Golf MKII 16v 3 door
Thanks Stu! I just used parkinsons with whom i have an account with. I guess it pays to shop around.
And,
Thanks Mike. The list of parts i still require are :-
One side skirt jack point cover.
Two dash top speaker covers (mine have holes in where sensors were fitted)
The lower shelf below glovebox (again mine has holes drilled in it)
Oil temp sensor (As the mfa is reading blank on oil temp)
And a black passenger door (because as Ben said at the beginning of this thread, The one on the car is full of filler.)
If you can help with any of those bits? I would be mighty grateful.

Not yet mate. I dont think there is much wrong with the linkage on it? I will have a look at adjusting it when it goes for m.o.t and is up on the ramps (I`m too lazy to jack it up and roll underneath it) I`m sure its just minor adjustment required as 5th is very close to 3rd. I get this on clio`s when the linkage isn`t quite set right.Ben wrote:Russ, it looks stunning now, nice work boys. Did you fit the uprated gear linkage yet?.
Oh no!!!!:puke: Les and i were only talking today about filthy morons that wipe bogeys on the side of seats. I had one a few months back that when i was cleaning it, I thought whats all that down the side of the seat by the handbrake? On closer inspection (ie-after id started cleaning it off) I realised that it was several years accumulation of some filthy herberts nose pickings! At the time i very nearly brought my breakfast back up.RX7 wrote:Well done mate, you've managed to get all of Bens bogeys out of the seats !! Good work

Not my bogey's
.. however either Jo or Matt's
.. seeing as the car was in the family since around 2002 / 2003.
The linkage I gave you was one I got off Mike, it would make the change nice and crisp due to the metal links instead of plastic. I didn't rush to have it fitted as I found no issue - just think of it more as an enhancement
