Renault Megane keyless start

Post by pjs65 »

I have been looking to get an estate car to use as a run about and wondered if anyone here has had any problems with the Renault keyless system . I looked at a clean 05 1.9 diesel but the exstensive use of electronics has kind of put me off it , so am i just to old tech or is it a reliable system . Or maybe i will just get a Mondeo . Dad had a few Legunas in the past as company cars with no electronic issues the card never gave any trouble and was a bit different, biggest problem was a few in the fleet having turbo issues and reving till exploding using the engine oil as fuel! Am guessing the engines are the same across the range.

Thanks for that as i have done a bit of research now and the turbo problem appears to be a bit to common for my liking . Pete:Chevy_anim:
