Thanks gents.
Still work to do, and I'm not sure how blend the lacquer in, or if I'll have to choose between doing the whole panel or leaving it un-lacquered. (Not too bothered by doing that as my trusty silverline polisher makes it a doddle.)

Allow a bit of an overlap and then cut it back. If you don't lacquer that will fade in no time (or just chuck loads more red on and cut it back so it's level afterwards) Or leave it until after Marham when you'll need a full front respray :D

I'm hoping the height it rides at will mean the stones hit the sump, thus protecting the bonnet ;)
Still doing odds and sods, but just had a job change so new overtime etc means I'm

Thanks to Dan's wizardry, and the aforementioned change in job, mean I can not worry quite as much about the car being a little more inconspicuous.

I'll be trying the tints on the back windows, refurbing the wheels and centre caps black, taking off the wing mirrors and doing them and the head unit too. (Probably tomorrow).

This is the plan for the car, wonder how it will turn out :)...........

PS nicked from the other thread to keep it all in one place, sorry.

rob in response to your reply in your other post how about vinyling the roof?
this way if you sell the car on then the next owner can just peal it off.
would give the car more potential to sell on if they wanted back with the red roof.
plus yinyl is so much easier than paint lol

just a thought mate.

I don't fancy the heat shrinking thing, that seems far too complicated. (And likely to go wrong)
