It's for when I go hooning around in forests at dusk/night. Also in the winter months it'll come dead in handy. :) Got to have plenty of light  Also the side and rear lights are for if I get stuck or have to do repairs in said darkness :)

Okay so we have a small update. :)

The roof crate has been abandoned for my truck as after fitting the mounts on the roof and offering up the crate showed that it wouldn't go into the garage as it was too tall. :( So that was sold on to Dad for his truck. :D

So he's very chuffed with it. :smash:

Since the truck was 'fixed' its been running really well, the only problem I had was the MPH conversion box had packed up behind the dash. So I cut that out and now have it reading in its original KPH form. Ofcourse that mean that the dial was in KPH too. So hopped on eBay and bought a replacement dial in MPH but is spaced out for KPH readouts, dismantled the speedo housing and replaced the dial. Really fits in well and looks like an OE part, more importantly though - no more guess work.

A couple more jobs on the list include replacing all the brake pads with EBC Ultimax. Anything is better than the shit that's on there at the moment. :) Need to paint the insides of the arches when it dries out as the original bitumen has started to flake off. Replacing the rear droplinks with new thicker and poly bushed items. Installing a pair of 18" boat horns under the bonnet ;)

and hopefully buying a new set of wheels and tyres. Going from 30 x 10 x 16 to 33 x 12.50 x 15.

Here's the same model as mine, with the wheels I want to buy :D

Perfect for pratting around on beaches and offroad :D
