Lad who used to work for me [Pip, some might remember him from the BP 1/4 mile night he came on his R6 track bike] has been talking a lot a about a track car so once you have sorted a price drop me a pm and i will pass on the details.

Change of plan again! (I'm almost as bad as Dan!)

Just picked up a set of track wheels from Fast Eddie, cleaning them up today. ET20 so thats 36mm more track, but mebe not quite road legal :/

For what it's worth, I reckon you'll go a long long way to beat this set up for cheap, guilt free fun.
You're not going to be owed a small fortune if heaven forbid something breaks, you've a lovely feelsome chassis, there are improvements to be made and had in most areas but it's pretty good out of the box, and it's always going to be sell-able.
The Golf I had that Stu owned was a similar prospect, bloody reliable and trustworthy, which can make it easy to take it for granted.
