Been busy ordering new parts tonight, new liners, pistons, conrods, timing chain, tensioner. The rest of the gaskets n seals will be ordered from renault as the non gen stuff just dont last

Pro mod head is on order should be a 10day turn round, flowed, 3 angle valve seats etc etc

Should have the crank n block sent away for a regrind this saturday and order a piper 285 cam kit n vernier through the machine shop

Shit news about the liner, but thats the way to handle a set back. Rebuild it better and stronger. Top effort, well done and hope to see you and the car at the dyno day:thumbs:

That's the TNT syndrome in effect!
Good on you sticking with it, be worth it in the long run when you see everyone crowded round it at the next big meeting :)

Only a couple of pictures not really showing much and shocking quality

Spent all evening cleaning the block best as i could, chasing every thread on the block and crank and helicoiling sump threads as 2 had stripped causing a leak and 2 are just falling apart so gunna fix them once ive got another helicoil kit

Also checked the v5 vs the engine block number.... shock it doesn't have its original block in there

Amazed that is a non-original engine! About time you slapped a V8 in there
