Different MOT station required!

The Tiger kit car went through SVA with not adjustable seats and that's a much harder test.

do seats have to adjust? wasnt ever in mot when i used to do them
Stuart wrote:Yeah flat mate. I intended to use some 3mm sheet to re-enforce the area but I can't see how it will adjust easily enough to satisfy an MOT tester (or VOSA etc)

This is just a guess on snippets i have glanced over so may just be bollocks ,but i thought there was some form of excemption for competion cars which need to be road legal ,if so would an msa log book give you that option . I have typed this without doing any research by the way lol

I have never had an issue prior to 2012 mate, so let me know how you or Whifbitz get on; these are new rules.

As per Jason and Gary, I have read that competition cars should be exempt but I await a clear decision on what makes a competition car in the eyes of the 'law'

Short term answer is to leave the seat alone and see how it develops.

Been offered some H&R ARBs for a good price. These are 25mm front and 18mm rear so just about as thick as you're going to get on there :smash:
