stu after 22months after you request i have finally got started on the lowering.
mate up in stafford had some 2wd cosworth shocks and mentioned
if i knew anyone who needed a pair to which i said ill have them for my GT
so they are KONI top mount adjustable and will be getting a repaint tomorrow
as they will class with the alloys, be painted silver.
the escort cosworth red springs will be taken off the shocks that came with
damion and put on the KONI's.

putting all the hard work in now to preserve the life of the car considering not many
of these models of cars left.
as said to paul on the phone earlier as long as the shell is good on any car and you look
after it then everything else around it can be replaced.
got my new shocks on the car today wahoo.
also fitted new anti roll bar bushes as they had started to perish so got that done as well.
before, crappy old shocks

new ones put on.

while working on the off side noticed that the ball joint casing has split
so going to have get one them soon.
once i got the car on the ground and moved it it has made no difference
to the ride hight of the car, no idea why but after driving the car home
the suspension is stiffer, more sharper turn and i have got more feel
through the steering wheel so all in all im quite happy.
