This is epic, considering I struggle putting air in my tyres I can't even begin to imagine doing something like this!

Thanks guys was a bit apprehencive about the way the paint would look this morning

when i got back to the factory.

left the big heater ticking over all night which kept the factory toasty and the paint still looks nice and shiney

so well chuffed with the results as it was the first time ive painted a car this way

Still not going to do the out side as i will leave that to the profesionals

Well another epic day on the golf spent the day doing the thing i hate most filler work just filling rubbing down and again and again till its ready to paint.

But the end result iam pleased with.

The shell is now near the end, because of the new front wings ive only got the doors to prep now and then one night next week i'll paint the inside.

so hears a few more pics by camera

Hopefully within the next two weeks ill get it over to the painters

Was thinking of painting it myself but the factory is to dusty although i can get good heat in the factory its not worth risking a bad finish after all the hard work.

At least with a solid colour you could get loads of paint on, and then flat it back afterwards. Knowing just how good you will want the finish, you may be better playing it safe and subbing it out........just a shame Mike 'cos you've done everything else. Tough choice.

I can't find the words to express just how impressed i am with this project. Can't wait to see it in the flesh, so to speak.
