


The tyres are quite clearly knackered so I took it pretty steady, only having a play at low speeds

With weather this glorious, there was only one option. Drop the roof and enjoy 27 miles of headroom



Driving impressions were really good. Great feel, a lovely noise, far from quick but nippy all the same. I knew that the soft top was pretty much shagged so when I got back the first thing to do was unbolt the old 'hood'

18kgs later and I was quite pleased by the condition of the rear 'bit' (fuck knows what you actually call it'

Time to chuck the hard top on and fitting couldn't have been easier, although it is definitely a two person job

I'm chuffed with the improvement over the original silver paint and the rattle black is acceptable standard wise. I was less chuffed with getting stuck in week old snow and spending the next 30 minutes skidding around the garden until I could get it back in the shed


The diff made a couple of funny old knocking noises but then I suppose that's inevitable after the beans that I had given it
I hope it thaws out in the next couple of days. It only cost
