MOT history check

I am sure that I may be the last to know about this, but for those that don't, you may find it useful.

With many, many cars being sold with no history the whole clocked mileage, hidden history thing is a bit of a nightmare........I found a 130k Passat TDi on one of the auction sites and it was cheap. Rang the owner, asked for history and he said he had a few MOT's but little else. I asked him for the MOT number and he paused..........gave me the number and I checked the details whilst he was on the phone. When the website confirmed it had done 194k at the last MOT five months ago, I thanked him for his time, gave him the good news and put the phone down :)

I hope you find it useful. I did

Might this be one for an information sticky?
I spent ages looking for this a while back and still forgot to bookmark it.
