Boys,
I've read and re-read the Cupra build thread, especially around the R suspension swap.
Did you attribute its 4x4 like qualities to anything in particular?
I had a small child limbo under it whilst parked in the street yesterday, and I've started developing a fear for heights when getting in and out.
I've designed a little something to make getting in a little easier.........

Seriously though, it's still amusingly lofty, so what do you reckon would be the best solution? (Other than these.........

The Cupra R suspension sits 20mm lower than standard. If you fit lowering springs that are supposed to be for a Cupra R, this will lower it by another 20/25mm. Much lower than this and the driveshafts will knock on the ARB. IF you swap (here we go) front ARB for an aftermarket one (FK is the cheapest) they have a scallop shaped area that avoids the driveshaft, and you can therefore go lower
Make sense?
About 180 all in and you can go lower, but watch that sump!!!!
