The only difference is bigger brakes, alloy header tank, alloy rad, gearbox.

Go on..............guess. I'll admit it wasn't road legal but I reckon it could have been for an extra 50kgs tops! Would there have been much difference in weight in my poverty spec engine and brakes??

cosworth are heavy and the 200block is bloody heavy. Have you got bigger ic, extra oil coolers? bigger turbo, bigger brakes etc
cosworth around 145kg v6 171 kg

Go weigh in some metal there bridges seem good,
mk1 escort, supercharged.

That was how Alan was working the weight out. For both cars to be identical down to the kilo seems odd.

DD was 1050kgs with some fuel (1/4 tank maybe?) The lack of weight certainly helped the lack of power :D

Damn that was light. Thats lighter than the 3dr cossie in Time Attack and he's got carbon bonnet, doors roof tailgate the works.
