Revolution RFX wheels x 5 14"

Post by Rob S »

I acquired these with a view to a minor refurb, a hopefully to see them find a new home on something old skool :)

I'm 99% sure they are 4x108, but will check the PCD soon.
When I bought them I was told they were off an old Mk2 Escort, but once I'm sure, I'll update this.
What I'm really impressed with, is the fact these are GENUINE RFX wheels from I guess the 80's, and yet they have virtually NO kerb marks at all :)

Dave J from here has kindly loaned me a polishing kit for the stainless edges, and depending on how the work goes, I may add another coat of black to the spokes.
The tyres are alright, but I would nt recommend people use them as I've no idea of how long they've been in storage and so can't vouch for them.

Anyway, here's how they looked when I bought them......

Now on Turbosports and Classic Ford...won't be around for long as I've already had a message from one forum, they've only been up half an hour :)

Back in the day these were my dream wheels to have on my XR2, I would dream of a blue MK2 XR with Revolution RFX's :)

1983 actually (the power of google!)

Further to this Dave J kindly offered these up to his lovely Mk1 today, and they don't fit 4x108.
My guess is 4x100 but I'm getting it checked.......
