Just re-read the advert and it's only a 323i engine so it's a 170bhp lump.

I can see this 'search-think you've found something-search again' process will run it's course for weeks yet!!

STOP!!
The 323 M523 lump is much lighter than the M50, and if you lob the intake manifold and throttle body off an older 325/525, you'll be over 190 bhp with the same weight or less than the M20 2.5 lump. (Forgive me if you knew all this)
I would nt give up on it, as the engine swap is the hard part and that's been done.

Are these bolt on bits? Are they cheap bolt on bits? Are they cheap bolt on bits that are easy to source? Are they cheap bolt on bits that are easy to source and you fancy fitting them?

Fairly easy to source, and pretty easy to fit.
I'll try and find some and will post any results.
For me, it would be a deal breaker, you can enjoy the car while you look for them.
