Cheers bud  I reckon they look pretty good and could be an easier option that having new metal replacing the rot thats removed. could prob even blent them into the nismo spats on my car. Did you put the do lucks on there?

tempting to blow the fronts too, i'm thinking bigger slicks.... :coolgleamA:

***********I have noticed that the ones I fitted were the old type mate; the new ones give you more clearance but seem to be a thinner material******************

I bought pretty much everything for that car from the exhaust to the wheels, brakes to the suspension, rocket flap spoiler to Nismo spats and Du-luck rear spats. I was a proper JDM tyte whore :D

nothing wrong with being a JDM whore pal :seeya:

interesting on the material front, reckon the syle 1 (narrower ones) would be ok for me, don't really need clearance in the the stock (albeit cut) arches clear as it is.

hmm, will have a word with steve tomorrow. I do still have a bit of a desire to keep it stock looking (ahem when you look at what i've done thus far) but i those are a good option and for a track car would make sense.

Yeah I liked these arches on Stuarts. The widebody kits for the R32 completely ruin the look for me but these are nice and subtle and very JDM with the arches riveted on :)

Aaagghghhhh!! Another wheel dilema. Went to order the xxr 527s so I can run slicks this year and they're out of stock till at least June!

So now I'm thrown into another wheel dilema.

Rota do wheel pretty much the same but not in matt black so would have to be bronze....

http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_pro ... roduct=T2R

Also tempted by other rota's, like the grid drifts I had on the zed.

I've always wanted BBS Le Mans but not prepared to spunk several thousand quid. However, found some replicas. Dunno if they do a nissan fitment, also a bit worried about quality of them for a track car

http://www.custom-wheels-rims-alloys.co ... -rims.html

But I also reckon genuine BBS CH's would look pretty tasty on the GTR and am starting to swing this way,, silver or black......

http://www.bbsalloywheels.co.uk/wheel-r ... ilver.aspx

Any suggestions welcome...

As another update, AP are dicking me about and the 7th march delivery for my rear brakes is now 24th April which is really pissing me off as can't use the car.

Have decided that as I'm massively para about intake/underbonnet temps that I'm going to relocate the air filters in the front wheel arch/bumper area - extend and wrap the pipes, plate it in etc so the filters are sucking cold air rather than hot under bonnet air. Gotta help...

With what you're spending, and the effort you're taking to get this "just right", I'd suggest getting the wheels you want, the CH's look lovely and won't be THAT much more than the mystery wheels once you've added freight to them. (If you get wheels you're not happy with you'll be buying some more before you know it)
As for the brakes, can't you go elsewhere?
Customer with cash is king these days, give you hard earned to someone who wants it!

Loving the idea with the air intakes, really well planned.
