When I first saw the green underside I thought wow mikes going lary green all over (which would be awesome )

Seems criminal to cover over oak green but White is more fitting for a track car I guess

Keep up the good work, I'm chomping at the bit now to get mine done/ready but getting the house sorted has taken my time up.

I take Trev's point onboard but white with white cage (wheels etc) just looks so bloody good. These sorts of project threads are so good to read and re-read. Inspiring but pretty much impossible unless you're prepared to put the kind of work in that Mike does. Fair play mate :)

Have been busy have worked on the car every night after work and then all day saturday got to get it moved on just seems as though nothings happening.

Removed the wiring loom and fuse box which is one of the jobs i didn't won't to do as wiring is somthing i don't like but i can finish the shell much better.

Welded in some extra bracing from the door pillar to the inner wing supports.

Removed the feul fillar flap welded a new piece in and filled it over.

Have finally finished under the bonnet painted it and gave the floor pan a final coat.

Have now started on the interior started in the footwells and tidying the bulk head welded the front leg to the floor and the centre hoop to its mount,

Hopefully going to work the evenings again so the shell will be done by the weekend.

Thanks guys i just hope once the red goes on it does it some sort of justice i must also remember it is a track car at the end of the day.

I also have a new respect for people that restore cars as it must be mind blowingly pain stacking.
