Henry......

Post by Rob S »

...........re-introducing a car well known, but rarely cherished (or polished ;) )
It's Henry.

It's raunchy lines will be a familiar site once more on the rural roads of Norfolk Christmas day, as I give it a gentle little run back to the farm.
Having removed half a hay bale from the boot yesterday, I'll be sure to lock it to ensure Stuart does nt lob a load of shite in the boot out of habit:smilielol5:

After Christmas day, I should have a little more time on my hands for some fettling, be good to get some miles under it's belt to feel a little more confident in everything, but so far so good.

I'm loving the boost too (all tiny portions of it)

Yeah, the state of the car (in terms of cleanliness) was a bit of an embarrassment; sorry again :)

It's a great all rounder and it earned a place in my respect, if not my heart. It was only supposed to be a convenient swap for the Lexus, but I ended up keeping it instead of the STi so it can't have been that bad.

I hope you enjoy it Rob!
From the little i drove it, Henry (if thats the new name for it?) seemed realy quite solid and remarkably rattle free and like the speedo had been clocked forward!
The big question is though............. Do your kids approve of it?:sifone:

They love the loud stereo and the acceleration!
The like the brakes too, it's like a roller coaster when I drive :)

It was Russ. It had a dash swap and the second hand dash that was fitted had much higher mileage.

160 mile round trip today, and it performed very well.
Quiet, smooth and quick and squirty when required.
Happy days.

PS Stu, blinding food and lovely to see you both today;)
